What if you allowed yourself to slow down and meet the life that’s waiting for you?
THE REVILLAGING PROJECT
182 Browns Road, Boneo, Vic 3939
Event description
What if you allowed yourself to slow down and meet the life that’s waiting for you?
In a world that’s increasingly fast-paced and wants us to do more, achieve more, be more, it is an act of rebellious self-kindness to slow down.
In this 2hr workshop, we’re going to do just that.
---
Together we will explore the 3 parts of my recently published book, Seeds of Courage, an exploration of the delicate and tender space between what has been, and what is in the process of becoming.
Part 1: Tilling The Soil:
This is where we pause and weed out the ground we stand on and prepare it with intention and care for what we want to plant.
Part 2: Sowing The Seeds:
This is where we develop clarity and excitement about the experiences, relationships, work and life we want to create in this emerging season.
Part 3: Allowing To Bloom:
This is where we take inspired action in a way that is generate and graceful and in alignment with how we want to move through the world.
---
I will guide you thought a freewriting exercise for each of the 3 parts, giving you prompts and questions to explore and consider.
There will be time for discussion and sharing of insights - entirely optional, of course - and an open discussion about how to live a big life through small and gentle acts of courage.
What exactly is freewriting?
Freewriting, also known as flow writing, is a writing technique where you start writing continuously for a set amount of time. When you’re freewriting, the goal is to let your writing flow without worrying about grammar, sentence structure, spelling or even word choice.
It allows us to get out of our heads and into our hearts, and helps us get our thoughts and feeling on paper without barriers. Developing a regular freewriting practice helps us meet ourselves every day and deepens the relationship we have with ourselves.
Whether you are an established writer, an occasional journaller or have no previous writing experience, freewriting is a simple yet powerful tool to unlock your creativity, inspiration and insights.
