ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR

My name is Sarah and I am a doll maker. Many years ago I went to a Steiner kindergarten and school in Germany. With the arrival of my first daughter I started making dolls again. What started as a passion has grown into my business. I strongly believe in sewing and crafting together as a special way of connecting, with ourselves but more so with others. My workshops are much more than doll making, creating something meaningful with our own hands, together with others, sharing stories, and talking about life is a form of therapy. My background as a Steiner child and my years of working as a project management in combination with my psychology degree, have proven to be a beneficial mix for creating very unique experiences.

My dolls are made from the heart with the child in mind. I find that if the doll resembles the child, it is easier adapted as a much loved companion. Therefore I recommend choosing skin tone and eye colour that resemble the child's for whom the doll is for.
